The world of time-travel entertainment is vast! As a unique TV show from the early ’80s, Voyagers! (1982) made time-travel fun. The show set out to be educational for children. The stories were filled with charm, action, adventure, and romance. The appealing cast included Jon-Erik Hexum and Meeno Peluce as Voyagers Phineas Bogg and Jeffrey Jones. Despite its junior target audience, adults love appreciate the time-travel concepts, wit, and storylines.
In a Starlog Magazine interview, Director/Writer/Producer James D. Parriott proudly stated that Voyagers! (1982) was “his baby.” Today, tons of fans (young and older alike) fondly remember this series and continue to love and support it. They’ve passed that love and enthusiasm to their children, and they love it too.
I’d like to sincerely thank Mr. Parriott and his collaborators for sharing their awesome vision of Voyagers! (1982), and the cast and crew for bringing the series to life. The series allowed us the brief but fantastic opportunity to “travel through the ages” and introduced us all to the marvelous Jon-Erik Hexum.
I want to give many thanks to all those who contribute and help to keep this series alive. Voyagers Guidebook has been online for 18 years, and my new blog is the latest phase. Please voyage back frequently! There’s always something new to discover.
